Ok, still jealous at how quickly folks have been blogging #SoSlam. Planned on it today but, sigh.. too much got in the way.

Much the same in what I learned - or rather was reminded. I NEED to get on the video side of content already, make it work for me!! And really, more SEO and platform based improvements. IMO it's been well past time to integrate, to create more open systems - forget the marketing vs. whomever battles, their only part of a much larger organization.

I think so much of it bled from one to the other - Standford to Marcus, Tom Webster and Mitch Joel and so on. The micro-niche - and the data it gives you, connects to the tipping point of action - how much will others need to engage with you before they commit to a choice (click, enroll, call)? Can you set up your social presence to be ready with the info people seek? All of it.

Really a lot of take aways. And FWIW - the highways signs LIED to me; I was looking for a Cracker Barrel but alas it wasn't to be found, ended up a WH in your honor. ;-)

Hi Adam, it was great meeting you and Renée! I've enjoyed reading the different recaps myself because it reminds me of things I'd forgotten.

Def. Waffle House next time.

Hey Jenn,

Great recap of Social Slam. There were definitely enough takeaways that I'll still be trying to implement them when next year rolls around! I really liked DJ's message about email -- it seems to get forgotten in all of the excitement about social.

It was great to meet you IRL! Next time, maybe we'll brave the Waffle House with you...

LOL!! I need you to travel with me so we can get more out of the audience first thing in the morning, when they're all hungover. You were the only one laughing at my jokes!

Actually I just scrolled back through all my tweets from the conference, and I still feel like I missed so much. So glad people are writing their own round-ups so I can remember what else was said.

It was great to see you!

Well, I can certainly tell who was taking copious notes -- something I'd expect from you, Ms. Whinnem! Me? I was just liking the C and B Scene at the Slam this year! See you next!

Hi Laura - thanks for visiting me here! We heard a lot from the friendly lion. Thanks too for sharing the slides from DJ, I'm going to add them now. You reminded me that my top learning was really about the Charmin app!
