Children’s dental health benefits were included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s essential benefits, requiring all health plans sold on Access Health CT (AHCT), Connecticut’s health insurance marketplace, to offer dental health coverage to children. The Children’s Dental Health Project (CDHP) will provide technical assistance to the Navigators and In-Person Assisters to aid them in discussing the intricacies of dental health benefits with consumers.
