As the first open enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) wraps up, Connecticut has been one of the leaders in implementation of health reform. Connecticut has also been in the lead for advocating for oral health policy.
The ACA is, however, a complex law and oral health is such a complicated issue that it takes sustained advocacy to make these two pieces work together.
With this grant funding, Children’s Dental Health Project (CDHP) will provide ongoing policy support and expert guidance on successful advocacy strategies to oral health advocates in Connecticut.
