If you are interested in responding with an application to an existing open Request for Proposals (RFP) from the foundation, please refer to the instructions listed in that RFP for details and requirements.

Your Ideas – Grant Ideas from You

To apply for a grant for your idea, please read the following instructions:

  1. To discuss your grant idea in the following areas, please contact: Tiffany Donelson at 860.724.1580.
  2. If your idea is in alignment with one or more of our strategic objectives, we may ask you to submit a concept paper that further describes the work and outcomes to be accomplished in the grant. Instructions for completing the concept paper can be found in the electronic form below. Applicants should email completed concept papers to grants@cthealth.org.
  3. If your concept paper has merit, you may be invited to submit a full proposal. Please see Your Idea Proposal Form for instructions. Applicants should email completed forms to grants@cthealth.org.

General Operating Support Grants

In certain cases, we fund organizations with general operating support. Typically, we award these grants to organizations who have an existing relationship with us, and whose mission closely aligns with our strategic objectives. To apply for a General Operating Support grant, please read the following instructions:

President’s Discretionary Grant Awards

CT Health occasionally awards grants from $1,000 to $25,000 to organizations and institutions that respond to our overall mission or specific priority areas. President’s Discretionary Grant Awards grants are accepted throughout the year, and decisions are made at the discretion of the President & CEO and approved by either the Board Chair or Program Committee Chair. To apply for a President’s Discretionary Grant Award, please complete the application form below and email to grants@cthealth.org.
