Our Initiatives

  • Our Priority Areas

There are many different focus areas in which we all can work for health justice for all of Connecticut’s residents. At Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health), we focus our funds and our energy on priority areas that relate to health care for low-income individuals.

  • Grants

CT Health teams with and supports organizations and institutions that seek to improve health outcomes by implementing innovative ideas, changing systems and promoting policy change.

  • Our Health Policy Work

We don’t simply address health justice on the surface—we identify system problems and develop solutions to create enduring change. Because with real change, you don’t just help one person—you help hundreds. And you don’t just solve problems today—you improve the health of future generations.

  • Health Leadership Fellows Program

To close the gap caused by racial and ethnic health disparities, communities need strong leaders that can advocate for policy decisions that influence health-related issues and health care. CT Health established the Health Leadership Fellows program to create leaders and advocates through training, education and research opportunities.
