NEW BRITAIN, CONN. (July 30, 2007) - The Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health) welcomes Yolanda Wilson to its staff as Administrative Assistant, Patricia Baker, President & CEO, announced at a recent board of directors meeting. "We are pleased to welcome Yolanda to the CT Health team," Baker said. "She brings a wealth of experience in administrative and marketing support and customer service from her work in the corporate sector, and the utmost professionalism and commitment to excellence." In this position, Wilson will be responsible for providing support to the office of the President & CEO, and Vice President of Finance & Operations. She also will provide support to the board and several of its committees including: Finance, Governance, and Executive, as well as the Community Advisory Committee. Prior to joining CT Health, Wilson held several marketing and administrative positions. She served as customer service representative for Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies in Forestville; sales and marketing coordinator at Maguire Group Inc. in New Britain; executive administrative assistant for Accustaff in New Britain; and administrative assistant for Aetna Life & Casualty in Hartford. "I'm excited about using my administrative and marketing skills effectively to support the advancement of the Foundation in a professional manner... exhibiting timeliness, accuracy and consistency," said Wilson, who graduated from the Morse School of Business and studied at Tunxis Community College in Farmington. While at Aetna, Wilson served as the Division Representative on the Family Services Advisory Board and as a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Program. The Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health) is the state's largest independent, non-profit grantmaking foundation dedicated to improving the health of the people of Connecticut through systemic change, program innovation and health policy analysis.
