Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist The Connecticut Health Foundation seeks a part-time, seasoned administrative assistant/receptionist. The position requires strong writing and verbal communication skills; excellent computer and database skills; a self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist visitors.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Conduct newspaper/internet search.
- Open and circulate mail.
- Copy board and committee meeting materials; collate and mail them to committee and board members after approval by appropriate staff.
- Attend committee meetings (finance, executive, and governance) and record minutes. Obtain approval of minutes from staff and committee chair, and provide approved copy to office manager.
- File documents for vice president of finance and office manager.
- Provide administrative support to president & CEO (review calendar, sort mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, send emails/letters/memos at president’s request, assist with presentations, support community advisory committee).
- Provide administrative support to vice president of finance & operations, including management of benefit enrollments.
General: - Comply with procedures that ensure the public is treated in a caring and respectful way, responded to in a manner that is timely, and provides accurate and consistent information.
- Perform functions in a culturally competent manner.
Qualifications & Skills: - Seasoned administrative assistant/receptionist.
- High school graduate; some college or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated excellence in computer skills and knowledge of all elements of Microsoft Office 2007 (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint).
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Pleasant, professional manner on the phone and in person.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- A team player; willing to help when needed.
- Bilingual is a plus.
