Linda Stewart Named to Connecticut Health Foundation Staff
NEW BRITAIN (Feb. 9, 2009) – The Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health) welcomes Linda Stewart to its staff as administrative assistant and receptionist. “Stewart brings an array of experience in administrative operations, planning, fundraising, bookkeeping and customer service from her work in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, “says Patricia Baker, president & CEO. Stewart will be responsible for providing support to the president & CEO, as well as the vice president of finance & operations, vice president of program & evaluation, and board committees. Prior to joining CT Health, Stewart served was an administrative assistant for Abate and Associates, a bookkeeping outsource company in New Britain. She was office manager for Lifeline in New Britain, where she managed a program supporting women suffering from addictions; product manager at Source One, Inc. in Farmington; and data entry/rebate manager at Accradata, Inc. in Farmington. An ordained minister, Stewart currently is an associate at Spottswood AME Zion Church in New Britain, administrative assistant and church clerk. She also enjoys serving as the organist, choir director and director of the children’s choir and theater. “I look forward to working in an organization that so effectively serves the community in supporting health initiatives,” says Stewart.
