Help Us Practice Our Commitment to Diversity

Today’s post was written by Lina Paredes, Vice President of Program at the Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health).Communauté - Mains en l'air - Vote à main levée

As we reflect on the values and contributions of the great civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., who is recognized this month, we ask ourselves how we can contribute to advancing racial equality in Connecticut.

We are actively looking to expand our support of minority-owned and -managed businesses through the creation of a database of ethnically and culturally diverse vendors in the following categories:

  • Consultants
  • Caterers
  • Event venues
  • Other suggestions: ________________________________

Your assistance in this endeavor would be most appreciated.  Please take a moment to reflect on how your contacts and network can help us further our commitment to invest conscientiously to support Connecticut’s minority communities.

If you know of vendors that fit the criteria, please take a moment to fill in this form and submit it:   If you experience any difficulties completing this form, please let us know.

You can submit the form repeatedly, for as many different vendors that you know.  Please feel free to pass this request to your colleagues and encourage them to submit vendors too. For every five vendors you submit by February 28th, you will receive a $10 gift card from Starbucks or Target.

Thank you for your help!
