This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Legacy will use tactics the organization developed during the COVID-19 pandemic as a trusted messenger to engage families of color in Hartford about both changes in health coverage. Work will include texting, flyers, billboards, webinars, and community conversations.
