Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), based in Oakland, CA, was awarded a one-year grant to work with the Connecticut Asian Affairs Commission and other leaders to increase the ability of Asian Americans to navigate Affordable Care Act enrollment and the health care delivery system; and to influence decision makers to be more responsive to the needs of Connecticut’s fast growing Asian American community for culturally and linguistically effective health care.
