Through its provisions for oral health care, the Affordable Care Act has created an opportunity to elevate the importance of good oral health. As the sole national voice of consumers dedicated to the expansion of high quality and accessible pediatric dental benefits, the Children’s Dental Health Project (CDHP) was at the forefront of this inclusion. With this grant, CDHP will assist Connecticut’s oral health advocacy efforts that promote access to high-quality, affordable dental care for families eligible for coverage through the new health insurance exchange.
