This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Grace Baptist will build off their COVID-19 trusted messaging work to engage Waterbury residents on both health care coverage topics. Outreach will be focused on hosting events in community centers and stores, sponsoring house meetings, and engaging in a social media campaign. The church will also partner with recently licensed brokers through AHCT to support enrollment.
