This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
This organization anticipates reaching over 500 immigrant and mixed-status families in Hartford with information about the expansion of HUSKY benefits. Planned outreach activities include community and 1:1 meetings and broad flyer distribution. This work will build on strong relationships with community members and local hospitals and clinics.
