This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
This youth-based organization will focus messaging on the end of continuous Medicaid coverage. The organization anticipates using a texting campaign, public service announcements, flyers, posters, and social media to reach 5,000 Hartford residents.
