This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
The Hispanic Alliance actively engages Latino, multi-racial and Afro-Latino populations in greater New London. They will build on their partnerships and programs to communicate about both changes in health care coverage. Work will take place through in-person appointments outside of normal work hours, at community events, and through social media.
