To demonstrate the value of community health workers (CHWs) in a public health setting, the Ledge Light Health District has employed CHWs who serve as generalists, with the flexibility to support community members in many ways. This is the second year of the project, which is intended to collect data on the impact of CHWs in these models on health outcomes and the return on investment for CHWs in this capacity.
