This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
As a trusted messenger and organizer in Hartford, Phillips will provide stipends to trusted messengers to share messaging on the end of continuous Medicaid coverage. Work will also include collaborating with Access Health Connecticut to assure that enrollment assistance is available outside normal business hours.
