This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Funding will support continued messaging work at the CAANH, which has served as a trusted messenger during COVID. CAANH is one of two grantees that will be offering outreach and assistance to people who will need to redetermine for Medicaid benefits.
