This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Ministerial Health Fellowships will apply what they learned through messaging campaigns during COVID to assured people are aware of changes to Medicaid redetermination and HUSKY expansion. Work will include a social media campaign and virtual meetings, public service announcements, phone calls to community members, and outreach to faith communities.
