This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
LEAD’s mission is to eliminate all barriers to information that will benefit the Black, Brown and Latino community. They will provide outreach on both health care coverage topics through their centers in Danbury, Bridgeport, and Norwich. Work also includes a partnership with La Vision and an extensive social media campaign.
