This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Make the Road will work with their members (about 1,000 Latinx and immigrant people) to share information about expanded HUSKY coverage for children. Community members see the organization as a trusted source for information. Health promotoras will conduct outreach for this campaign through 1:1 conversations, community clinics, and a social media campaign.
