This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Focused on Black, Indigenous, people of color communities in Hartford, NAG will build on its advocacy and mutual aid activities to share messaging about both HUSKY expansion to undocumented children and the end of continuous Medicaid coverage.
