Naugatuck Valley Health Care Interpretation Project

Over the past ten years, Naugatuck Valley’s immigrant population, especially the Latino population, has grown dramatically. One quarter of the residents of Waterbury, the Valley’s largest city, and 5% of the residents of Lower Valley communities are Latino/a. Many do not speak English well enough to access the health care system as effectively as their English-speaking peers.  >> more
