This organization is a recipient of the Trusted Messengers to Support Health Coverage grant and will share important information about health care coverage with their communities. The messaging activities are related to two major changes in health care coverage taking place this year: HUSKY redeterminations and new HUSKY coverage for children under age 13 regardless of immigration status.
Hartford Health Initiative will build on its connection to Black and Latino residents to share information about the end of continuous Medicaid coverage. Outreach will include pop-up events, planned community engagement, flyers, and newsletters.
